Mrs. Goldie Shemper Husley, 72, of Biloxi, MS., died Sunday, February 25, 2007 in Biloxi.
Mrs. Husley was a native of Pascagoula, MS. She was a graduate of P.H.S. in 1952, a lifelong resident of Biloxi,
a retired Insurance Broker, a member of Cedar Lake U.M.C., a member of D'Iberville Community Club and a member of Krewe of Gemini Carnival Association.
Mrs. Husley was preceded in death by two sons: Jake Husley and Todd Husley, her parents: Israel and Carrie Shemper, and a brother: Buddy Shemper.
Survivors include: her husband of 45 years: Kenneth Husley of Biloxi, two daughters: Evelyn Roberts and her husband, Cliff. Rebecca "Beckey" Barnett and her husband, Ken, one son: Mario Genna and his wife, Alicia.
Survivors also include eight grandchildren: Bobby Genna, Joshua Stamps, Brooke Barnett, Ken Barnett, Blair Barnett, Caleb Barnett, Rachel Roberts, and Cliff Roberts, Jr. Two sisters: Sarah Edmondson and Lillie Joseph. A sister-in-law: Marlene Shemper.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. (228)374-5650. Services will be Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Cedar Lake U.M.C. at 12:30 p.m. Friends may visit one half hour before service. Interment will be at the Cedar Lake U.M.C.
