Grace Dailey Bovard

Mrs. Grace Dailey Bovard, age 90, of Vancleave, MS., died Tuesday, March 13, 2007, in Vancleave. Mrs. Bovard was a resident of the community since 2001. She was a native and longtime resident of Pittsburgh, PA. She was also a former Executive Secretary to the Vice President of Labor Relations for the U.S. Steel Corporation. She was preceded in death by her parents, George R. Miller and Ida May Baker Miller, a sister, Shirley Soles, and brothers, John R., Samuel, and George L. "Salty" Miller. Survivors include a son, Harry James "Jim" Bovard, III of Vancleave, MS., a sister, Ida Mae "Sue" McGee of Melbourne Beach, FL., and two grandchildren, Derek Scott and Cory James Bovard, of Ocean Springs, MS., On Friday, March 16, 2007, there will be a Memorial Gathering from 6-9 PM at the family residence in Vancleave, MS. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
