Grace U. Thompson

Mrs. Thompson is a longtime resident of Gulfport, MS and a member of First United Methodist Church in Gulfport. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Thompson is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey H. Thompson, and daughter, Jean T. Travis. She is survived by one daughter, Carole and husband David King of Hattiesburg, MS, one son-in-law, M.H. Travis of Pascagoula, MS, six grandchildren, Cindy Hopper of Ocean Springs, MS, Dave King of San Diego, CA, Diane Altsman of Diamondhead, MS, Nancy Ward of Baton Rouge, LA, Glenn Travis of Spanish Fort, AL, and Patti Behar of Trophy Club, TX, and fourteen great-grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews. Services will be 11 am Tuesday, November 15, 2005 Graveside at Floral Hills Cemetery in Gulfport with visitation from 10 am to 10:30 am at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on O'Neal Road in Gulfport. In lieu of flowers, family prefers memorials sent to one's favorite charity.
