Gregory A. Alexander

Mr. Gregory Achille Alexander, age 50, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Monday, April 4, 2011, in St. Martin. Mr. Alexander was born on October 12, 1960 in New Orleans, LA. He was a resident of Ocean Springs for the past three years and a former resident of New Orleans and New York. His entire 30 year career was in the restaurant business. He started at Arnauds in the New Orleans French Quarter. From there he was the Sous Chef at the Union League Club in New York City for sixteen years. Then he came to Treasure Bay Casino on the MS. Gulf Coast for a Chef's position. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ray Holman. Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Elisa Arneecher Alexander, daughter, Nathalie Evangelina Alexander and son, Nicholas Shane Alexander, all of Ocean Springs, and his mother, Linda Holman of Picayune, MS. On Friday, April 8, 2011, there will be a 10 a.m. Memorial Service at Greater Life Church, 604 Magnolia Avenue, Ocean Springs, MS.
