Mr. Gregory "Gigi" H. Saucier, age 55, of Biloxi, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 29, 2005, in his home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Greg was a Biloxi native and employed with Saucier Brothers Roofing and Sheet Metal. He attended Sacred Heart and St. Thomas Catholic Chruches.
His father, Rudolph "Rudy" A. Saucier; brother, Kenneth J. Saucier,; his paternal grandparents, Sidney and Frances Saucier, and his maternal grandparents, Harry and Myrtle King, precedes him in death.
He is survived by his son, Ryan Saucier and his wife, Sarah; his daughters, Mary Caitlin and Kerri Kinnon Saucier, all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; his mother, Mrs. Helen K. Saucier of Biloxi; his beloved financee'; Kateri Barhonovich and her sons, Michael and his wife, Jennifer, Jared and Matthew Barhonovich; his brothers, Rudolph "Rudy" A. Saucier, Jr., of Biloxi; Robert "Bobby" Sauacier of Biloxi; Keith J. Saucier of Biloxi; Phillip F. Saucier of Biloxi; his sisters, Brenda S. Morrison of Montgomery, Alabama and Priscilla S. Kahl of Biloxi and many loving nieces and nephews. Greg is loved and missed by all.
The loved ones of Greg would like to give special thanks to Dr. Davidson, Oncoogy Clinic, the Memorial Hospital Select Unit and the Memorial Hospice staff, especially to Tee, Jeri, Paul, Linda, Flossy, Dena and Tracy Surian. The family would also like to thank Father Louie, Father Cleary, Father Harlow and all the Eucharistic Ministers. They would also like to thank all the friends for their prayers, thoughts and actions through Gigi's battle.
Mass of Christian Burial will be hled Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, Greg's loved ones request memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 182 A Debuys Road, Biloxi, MS 39531.
The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements
