Mr. Gregory "Greg" Wayne Mitchell, age 23, of Vancleave, MS., died Wednesday, September 27, 2006, in Ocean Springs.
Greg was a lifelong resident of Vancleave and a former student of Virginia College. He was an electrical apprentice and an avid writer and artist. Greg loved all sports, especially weightlifting, basketball and football, and then coming home to a ribeye soaked in Dale's Steak Marinade.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Bertha Mitchell.
Survivors include his mother, Ruby Mitchell, stepfather, Melvin Forehand, father, Jason Borries and family, grandparents, Billy Mitchell and Pauline Borries, two special aunts, Cathy Mitchell and Priscilla Clancy, other aunts and uncles, Susan Holley, Paula Vaughn, Debbie Borries, Kenny Borries, Lula Mae and Junior, Terry (Phil) Breaux, Betty (Clint) Dunham, Tommy (Candy) Mitchell, and Kenneth (Cindy) Mitchell, special cousins, Zeke and Mandaru Clancy, other cousins, Joseph, Thomas, Katie, Crystal, Randall, Shaunta, Carolina, Becca, Dotty and Tricia, and a host of others.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 30, 2006, from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM, with an 11:30 AM funeral service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Holiness Cemetery in Vancleave.
