Guy W. Hawkins

Guy W. Hawkins, age 86, of Gulfport, died Friday, June 1st, 2012 in Gulfport. He was born in Ellijay, Georgia to the late Guy Washington and Flossie H. Hawkins. Mr. Hawkins retired from the United Sates Air Force after 21 years of service to his country and spent the next eight years teaching at Jefferson Davis Community College. He is survived by his wife, Gretchen Hawkins; step-sons, Timothy, Dana and Adam Keels of Los Angeles, CA; a brother, Paris (Myrtle) Hawkins; sister-in-law, Jacque Hawkins all of Jonesboro, GA; and many many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephew. The funeral service will be Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the service.
