Gwendolyn "Gwen" Rogers King

Mrs. Gwendolyn "Gwen" Rogers King, age 90, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018. Mrs. King was a native and lifelong resident of the coast. She retired from civil service at Keesler Air Force Base after 42 years. She was a member of Community of Christ Church in Ocean Springs, Ocean Springs Hospital Auxiliary, Ocean Springs Senior Citizens, Ocean Springs Arts Association, Ocean Springs Womens Church Association and Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack King. Survivors include her son, Johnny (Teena) Richardson, two grandchildren, Jonathan (Julie) Richardson and Jeremy (Amanda) Richardson and two great-grandchildren, Jack and Vance. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 24, from 11am until 1pm, with a 1pm chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
