Mr. Harold Lee "Hal" Reynolds, Jr., age 69, went to be with the Lord on Palm Sunday, April 9th, 2006.
Mr. Reynolds was born on October 7, 1936 in Charleston S.C. where he lived until his teen years. At that time he relocated with his father to Syracuse N.Y. where he graduated from Liverpool High School. Upon graduation he proudly served his country for four years. When he returned to Syracuse he was employed with the General Electric Company. For over thirty five years he traveled throughout the country and the world as an electronic engineer. He retired in 1991 and he and his wife made Ocean Springs their home. He was a member of BPO Elks Lodge #2501. He and his wife were members and worshiped with parishioners of St. John's Episcopal Church in Ocean Springs. He loved the Lord with all his heart and is having a joyous reunion with those that he loved and had predeceased him as he finally reached his hearts desire to be with Jesus.
Left to celebrate his life on earth and a lifetime of beautiful memories are his loving wife of 25 years, Sue (Susie Powers) Reynolds of Ocean Springs, loving son, Tim Reynolds and wife, Laura Nadine, of Atlanta, GA., daughter, Elaine Jo Murphree, of Woolmarket, and three precious grandchildren, Andrew, Katlynn, and Wesley Reynolds, of Atlanta, GA., mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. F.W. Lyon, sister and brother-in-law, Rea and Steve Cajote, all of Panama City, FL., brother and sister-in-law, Milton and Kathleen Reynolds of San Jose, CA., and brother, Richard Reynolds of Belfast, Maine as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
On Wednesday, April 12, 2006, there will be a 1 PM memorial service at St. Johns Episcopal Church in Ocean Springs, where friends may visit from 12 Noon to 1 PM.
The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
