Harry Mark “Bobby” Gonsoulin, 78, born October 24, 1935, of D’Iberville passed away from this life to be with God on Monday, February 10, 2014.
Bobby was a lifelong resident of Biloxi before moving to D’Iberville in the 60’s. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1954. Bobby was in the Magnolia Swinger Square Dance Club. His biggest priority in life was his family. He enjoyed going to Burger King in D’Iberville every day to visit with his friends.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Gonsoulin and Lelia Comeaux Gonsoulin; and his sister, Irene Strawn.
His survivors include his wife of 58 years, Ethelyn Wise Gonsoulin; his sons, Mark (Nikki), Mike (Kim) and Scott (Tina); his daughters, Michelle (Rod) and Lennette (Robert); his grandchildren, Timmy Pyron, Pete Jones, Mark Gonsoulin, III, Chase Jones, Travis Gonsoulin, Tyler Flowers, Lauren Gonsoulin, Lacy Gonsoulin, Hillary Gonsoulin, Sydney Jones, Hollie Gonsoulin, Scotty Gonsoulin, Gia Gonsoulin, Daphne Gonsoulin, Taylor Girouard and Bella Swafford; his great-grandchildren, Cade Jones and Baylee Pyron; his brothers, Ronnie and Larry (Susie);and his sisters, Olga, Betty, Shirley (Mike) and Loraine (John).
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 10446 Lemoyne Blvd. D’Iberville, MS 39540.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D’Iberville on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until mass time.
The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
