Harry C. Barber

Mr. Harry C. Barber, 69 died October 17,2006 in Biloxi ,MS. Mr. Barber was born in Hartford, CT. and was a resident of the Gulf coast for a number of years. He was a retiered Vice President of Sercurity at D.H. Holmes in New Orleans, La. Later he enjoyed working at the Beau Rivage Casino in Biloxi. He served 17 years in the National Guard in Hartford, CT. He enjoyed fishing, golf and his grandchildren. Mr. Barber was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas C. and Mary F. Barber, and a brother, Joseph Barber. Survivors include his wife, Diane Barber, of Saucier; one daughter, Gail Lloyd, Of Baton Rouge, LA; two sons, Tom Barber of Ethel, LA and Andrew Gary of Hernado,MS; his sister, Gloria Vieth of Hartford, CT, and a brother, Thomas A. "Pug" Barber of Hartford, CT, and fourteen grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, October 20, 2006, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Funeral services will be held Saturday in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m.
