Harry Nicholas "Nick" Christovich

Harry Nicholas “Nick” Christovich, age 83, of Gulfport, MS passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023.

Nick was born in Mississippi City, MS on December 31, 1939 to the late Delories and George Christovich. Nick attended Mississippi City Elementary School and attended Gulfport High School, Notre Dame Catholic High School and Holy Cross Catholic High School in New Orleans, LA. Nick served in three services: U.S.M.C., U.S. Army and U.S. Navy C.B.’s.

Nick is preceded in death by his parents, Delories A. Christovich and George N. Christovich; oldest brother, Christan G. “Chris” Christovich; and by his younger sister, Margarette “Reda” Christovich-Singley.

Survivors include his loving wife, of 53 plus years, Lauren L. Christovich; younger sister, L.V. Puebla (Paul); younger brother, Sam B. Christovich (Charlotte); sons, George Boatner, Michael Marcello and C.J. Hantz (Kyline); daughter, Julia Richardson (Jimmy); grandchildren, Gabriel Hantz, Julia, Jessica, Raquel, Courtney and Emily; and by his great grandchildren, Mariah, Madison, Lucile and Macee.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Gulf Coast V.A. Medical Center- Community Living Center’s hospice staff, nursing staff and ancillary staff; as well as the 4^th floor care staff at Gulfport Memorial Hospital. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Jameson, Dr. Cowan and Nurse Practitioner, Wesson.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi. Friends are invited to visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
