Harry Huff Sunderland, Sr.

Harry Huff Sunderland, Sr., 86, of Gulfport, died Wednesday, April 27, 2005 in Gulfport. Mr. Sunderland was born in Decatur, AL on January 3, 1919 and had been a resident of Gulfport since 1957. He was a charter member of Trinity United Methoidist Church, Gulfport. After serving in the U. S. Air Force, he was employed as an independent agent for Greyhound Bus Lines in Biloxi. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry E. and Margaret Ann Sunderland; his brother, Travis D. Fleming; and his son, Harry H. Sunderland, Jr. His survivors include his wife of 60 years, Juanita Mitchell Sunderland; his son, David E. Sunderland of Provincetown, MA; two grandchildren, Richard H. Sunderland of Denver, CO, Pamela Keeton and her husband, Kyle and a great-grandson, Kade Keeton all of Hattiesburg, MS; two nieces, Nancy Stone and her husband, Ben of Gulfport and Dell MacGregor and her husband, Bruce of Atlanta, GA; great nieces and their spouses, Nancy and Larry Bourgeois of Pass Christian, Virginia and Terry Robinson of Gulfport, Kathleen and Roman Mayer of Charleston, SC, and Jennie and Joe Davis of New Albany. A graveside service will be held Saturday April 30, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Organ Fund of Trinity United Methodist Church, 5007 Lawson Ave., Gulfport, MS 39507 Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
