Harvey Martin Goff

Mr. Harvey Martin Goff, age 85, of Ocean Springsg, MS., died Thursday, March 3, 2005, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Goff was a lifelong resident of Ocean Springs and had retired from L & N Railroad after 41 years of service, in 1981. He was a former member of the Army at Camp Shelby. He was a member of the priesthood at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for 50 years. He was preceded in death by two sons, Gerald Martin Goff and Anthony Goff, his parents, Viola and Lynn Goff, two brothers, Joseph Goff and George Goff and a granddaughter, Patty Goff. Mr. Goff is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elenor Seymour Goff of Ocean Springs, a son, Marshall Goff, and wife Ann, of D'Iberville, two daughters, Melda Catalanatto and husband, John, of Ocean Springs, and Yvonne Usry of Ocean Springs, two sisters, Ina Clarke and Helen Fayard, fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Goff was the monarch of five generations. Visitation will be Sunday, March 6, 2005, from 12 Noon - 2 PM, with a 2 PM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Goff Cemetery. Officiating the services will be Elder Marie Davis and Elder Steve Dockens. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Doug Goff, Jeremy Catalanatto, Kelly Goff, Chad Goff, Aaron Allen and grandson-in-law, Lloyd Hebert.
