Harvey Vincent Saujon

Harvey V. Saujon, 95, of D'Iberville, MS died Tuesday, November 10, 2009 in Biloxi, MS. Mr. Saujon was born in D'Ibverville, MS on November 6, 1914. He worked for Bordens Milk Co. and was a boat captain for Western Geographic. He also worked for Global Marine. Mr. Saujon was a member of D'Iberville Historial Society. He enjoyed cooking for others and inviting them to his home. He also loved being and living on the water. Every morning he enjoyed meeting his "coffee buddies" at Rusty's (Fayard Grocery) and McDonalds in D'Iberville. Mr. Saujon was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of D'Iberville. He will be sadly missed by his family and his longtime friends of D'Iberville. Mr. Saujon is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Coline Saujon; sister, Alberta Saujon; brothers, Georgie Saujon and Fabin Saujon. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rose Mercedes Saujon; brother-in-law, Ronnie Ritchey; cousins, Hazel Evelyn Seale "Sister", Vaughin Seale and Joan Guffey. Also, very devoted and dear friends, Burt Flecher, Gloria Anglado and Paul Fayard. A Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, November 16, 2009 at 12:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D'Iberville. Friends may visit from 10:30 am until mass time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery. Pallbears are: Bert Flecher, Steve DuPree, Vaughn Seale, Paul Fayard, Red Senseny and Gary McGinn. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Ave., Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
