Hazel Louise Green

Louise French Green, 86, died at her residence in Gulfport on Tuesday, January 10, 2006. She was surrounded by her family and friends who loved her dearly. Mrs. Green or "Weezie", as she was called by those who knew her well, was born November 30, 1919 in Pass Christian. However, shr resided in Gulfport with her family for forty-two years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene P. Green whom she was married to for fifty-seven years, three brothers, Nicholas B. French, John E. French, Bennie L. French, Jr., and two sisters, Mrs. Henrietta Castelin and Mrs. Clifton Erwin. She is survived by her step-mother, Izella French, Kiln, Ms; her sister Bonita Favre, Kiln, MS; two daughters, Sandra Schroeder and her husband William and Sally Miles, both of Gulfport; and four grandchildren, Gregory Miles and his wife Kelly, Montgomery, Alabama; Kimberly McDaniel, Nashville, Tennessee; Kevin McDaniel and his wife Melissa, Montgomery, Alabama; and Teri Miles of Gulfport, Mississippi; and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Green was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport. In addition to being a loving wife and mother, she worked for the Broadwater Hotel at the Dorothy Brown Shop Clothing Boutique for twenty-five years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, January 13, 2006 at St. James Catholic Church, where friends may visit one hour before mass. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
