Beloved Mother and Grandmother, Mrs. Hazel Moran Seymour, 83, died Thursday, May 19, 2005, in Biloxi. Mrs. Seymour was born Ocitober 24, 1921 in D'Iberville to Harry and Lillie Blackwell Moran.
She was a 1940 graduate of D'Iberville High School and she lived in D'Iberville all her life until moving to Biloxi in 2000. She worked for the American Red Cross and for the Carpenter's Union prior to her marriage to Francis H. "F.H." Seymour in August 1943. Mrs. Seymour was a charter member of Northside Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Francis H. "F.H." Seymour, her parents, Harry and Lillie Blackwell Moran, her granddaughter, Jeannie Emily Wrenn and her brother, Luther H. Moran.
Survivors include her children, Frances Friis and her husband, Jeff, of D'Iberville; Dr. Timothy Seymour and his wife, Brenda, of Madison, MS and Carmella Gay Seymour of Gulfport; three grandchildren, Cherissa Wrenn of Biloxi, Tim Seymour, II and Kaeley Gemmill of Madison; her sister, Mrs. Vivian Hartfield of Witchita Falls, TX and her beloved niece, Marilyn Harmon, of Witchita Falls.
Visitation will be Monday, May 23, 2005, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
