Helen Ibele Fayard

Mrs. Helen Ibele Fayard, 93, a lifelong resident of Biloxi and Ocean Springs, died Saturday, June 16, 2007, in Biloxi. Helen was born September 26, 1913, in Biloxi and was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall J. Fayard, Sr.; daughter, Phyllis Hines, and brother, Frank Ibele. Helen was always happiest when surrounded by her family who will always cherish her memory. They are her daughters, Mary Edna King and her husband, Ralph, of Ocean Springs, Maxine Holder and her husband, Frank, of Tucson, Arizona, Deanna Windom and her husband, Harold, of Biloxi; sons, Marshall Fayard, Jr. and his wife, Shannon, of Ocean Springs, and David Fayard of Houston, Texas; thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to daughter, Deanna Windom and her entire family who cared for Helen at her West Biloxi home for the last eight months of her life. Last, but certainly not least, a special thank you to the Asera Care Hospice staff, with particular gratitude to Val Dinning for exceptional love and devotion. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at 2:30 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi where friends may visit from 1 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
