Helen Louise Brown Newby

Mrs. Helen Louise Brown Newby, age 71, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Monday, May 24, 2010, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Newby was a longtime resident of Ocean Springs and a resident of the Ocean Springs Nursing Center for nine years. She was of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Bernice Brown. Survivors include her husband, Howard Newby, two daughters, Yolanda Jean Ferguson and April Starr Hebert, a son, Greg Lee Newby, three sisters, Edith Schaeffer, Ozell Szelag and Lenora McDaniels, two brothers, Howard Brown and Elwood Brown, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be on Friday, May 28, 2010, from 10 am ~ 11 am, with an 11 am chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
