Mrs. Helen Marie McInnis, 77, of Biloxi, MS., died Monday, January 15, 2007, in Biloxi.
Mrs. McInnis has been a resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast for 37 years. She was an avid slot machine player at the Imperial Palace, Atlanta Braves fan, Peyton Manning supporter, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Nell Alford and Earline Meredith. One brother, Emmette Parrette. Her parents: Johnnie and Essie Parrette and one great grandchild, Rocky Height.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, William McInnis, Jr. Three sons, William Dean McInnis Sr. (Belinda) of Slidell, LA, Dale Edward McInnis of St. Martin and Dennis John McInnis (Arlene) of Biloxi. Four sisters, Frances Alley of St. Martin, Bobby Jean Dimitry of St. Martin, Sybil Barber of Sims, AL and Nancy Chisesi of Gulfport. One brother, Richard Aliwine of Pearl, MS. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation is Wednesday, January 17, 2007 from 5 until 7 p.m. Services will be Thursday January 18, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery in Gulfport, MS.
