Helena Mae Uhland

Helena Mae Uhland passed from this life on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at the age of 90 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Uhland was of the Methodist faith and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a religious woman and was known for her generosity. She was preceded in death by her husband, MSgt. Dale Uhland; one daughter, Barbara Perez; and one infant son, Clarence Dale Uhland, Jr. She is survived by three daughters, Terrie Uhland Shoemaker, Leta Jo Uhland Callender, and Kellie Uhland (Tracy) Klein; ten grandchildren, Robert (Halei) Perez, Tia Perez Flugum, Shawn (Shannon) Perez, Jill Shoemaker (Paul) Hernandez, Dusti Shoemaker, David (Gwen) Shoemaker, Stephen Callender, April Callender, Jackson Klein and Campbell Klein; and eleven great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held including butterfly release on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 3:00pm at the Ocean Springs Stateroom at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs.
