Henry H. Ladnier

Mr. Henry H. Ladnier, age 64, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away in Ocean Springs Hospital on February 8, 2013, after a year battle with cancer. Henry was a life-long resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He was the owner and operator of Henry's Bar and Grill in D'Iberville and Henry's Avenue Lounge in Biloxi. When not at work he enjoyed fishing and golfing. Henry loved life and spending time with his many friends. He served in the US Marine Corps Reserve and was a member of the Biloxi Elks. Henry was a devoted father and grandfather and was of the Lutheran faith. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Bosarge and father, Francis Ladnier. Survivors include his children, Scott Ladnier, Stacey Ladnier-Tufo (Jeff) , and Stephen Ladnier, two grandchildren, Skylar Ladnier and Lexi Tufo, three sisters, Charlotte Galle-Yost (Charles) , Frances Ladnier Tapper and Tonette Bosarge Cruse. He is also survived by his long time friend Tom Marshall. The family wishes to thank Dr. Brian Persing, the second floor nurses at Ocean Springs Hospital and the special friends who comforted the family with their support and many prayers. Visitation will be held at Christus Victor Lutheran Church in Ocean Springs on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, from 1 PM until 2 PM with a 2 PM Memorial Service. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
