Herbert Allen Harris

Herbert Allen "Al" Harris, 69 of D'Iberville, MS left this physical world to take his place with the Lord on February 23, 2010. Al proudly served in the Navy and retired in 1987 then went on to retire in 2001 from Ingalls shipyard. During the Navy he received the 2nd Good Conduct Award, Vietnam Service Medal, Navy Unit Commendation, Meritorious Unit Commendation and the National Defense Service Medal. Awaiting his arrival are his parents, Tillie and Hershal Harris; grandparents, Mary and Rob Lillibridge; his dog, Tiger. Al is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Pat; daughters, Toni, Julie, Tina and Tricia; his siblings, Billie Maxine, Jim, Genora and Rick - all of Oklahoma and grandchildren, more than we can count. His family would like to thank him for preparing his wife so she had the strength to continue living this life in memory of him. We know you are reading this in heaven, dad, and you are proud. Have fun and we will see you again and miss you till then.
