H.L. "Hill" Rouse

H. L. “Hill” Rouse, age 75, of Saucier passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2016 in Ocean Springs. Born September 17, 1943 in Lucedale, Mr. Rouse was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Rouse and Gertrude Whittington Rouse, both of Lucedale; three brothers, Dean Rouse (Willie), Jim Rouse (Hilda Jo), McKerrin “Karo” Rouse (JoAnn), and one sister, Janie Rouse Hodges (Jewell). He is survived by his wife Debra Devine, two sons, Brian Rouse (Tammy) of D’Iberville, Patrick Rouse of New Orleans; two grandchildren, Karley Jane Rouse and Cooper Brian Rouse, both of D’Iberville; Stepson Joseph Coffey and stepdaughter Amanda Coffey. Service will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Lucedale. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
