Hubert Earl Smith

Mr. Hubert E. "Smitty" Smith, age 76, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Wednesday, July 11, 2007, in Moss Point. Mr. Smith was born in Saltillo, MS., and had been a resident of Ocean Springs since 1987. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a former employee with Ingall's Shipbuilding. He was preceded in death by his wife, Misako Smith, a sister, Zelma Stanford, and three brothers, James Smith, Troy Smith and Charles Smith. Survivors include two sons, Toyoki Smith of Biloxi, MS., and Kaz Smith of Ocean Springs, MS., and one sister, Helen Stanford of Saltillo, MS. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 17, 2007, from 10-11 AM, with an 11 AM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
