Hugh Luther McMillon, Jr.

Mr. Hugh Luther McMillon, Jr., 84, of Biloxi, MS, died Friday, June 5, 2009, in Biloxi. Mr. McMillon was a native of Louisiana and had been a resident of the coast for the past 41 years. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of WW II, served in the European Theater,including the "Battle of the Bulge". He retired from the U. S. Air Force in 1966 as Staff Sergeant. Mr. McMillon was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh L. McMillon, Sr. and Ethel Medaris McMillon. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mrs. Nona Mae McMillon; daughters, Sandra M. Pitalo and Susan McMillon; sons, Johnny McMillon and Richard McMillon; sister, Shirley Smith; brother, Doyle McMillon; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi where friends may visit from 11:30 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
