Ila Mae Wolverton

Ila Mae Wolverton, 95, of Ocean Springs, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, June 25, 2014. Mrs. Wolverton was born in Newton, MS and has been a resident of Ocean Springs since 1953. She was a member of Woodhaven Baptist Church in Ocean Springs. She is preceded in death by her husbands, T.L. Jordan and W.C. Wolverton; her sons, Clois, Harlan and Billy Jordan; her parents, James and Ophelia Lewis; two brothers; and three sisters. Her survivors include her grandchildren, Tina Ellzey (Danny), Cheryl Henry, Stephanie Guinta (Dan), Reese Jordan (Tammy) and Patrick Jordan (Tina); her great-grandchildren, Josh Ellzey, Linda Hendricks, Mandy Bennett, Chari Guinta, Elizabeth Johnson, Brielle Jordan, Luke Jordan and Madison Jordan; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 2:30 pm. Friends may visit from 1:30 pm until service time. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Ocean Springs.
