Inez Ackridge Galle

Mrs. Inez Ackridge Galle, age 92, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Sunday, April 10, 2005, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Galle was a lifelong resident of the coast. She graduated from Biloxi High School and the State Teachers College, now known as the University of Southern Mississippi. She taught in Ocean Springs schools, Jackson County schools, and St. Alphonsus school for over 25 years. She was a member of the Mississippi Retired Teachers Association and enjoyed playing Bingo at the St. Alphonsus Knights of Columbus Hall. Mrs. Galle was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Edgar Galle, son, Clarence E. Galle, Jr., and granddaughter, Kimberly Galle Pepper. Mrs. Galle is survived by a daughter, Janice Pepper and husband, Hugh, two sons, Charles L. "Larry" Galle and wife, Martha, and Carl W. "Boo" Galle and wife, Sylvia, all of Ocean Springs, nine grandchildren, David Pepper, Cathy Lomax, Mary Vargas, Chuck Galle, Marcie Montgomery, Leigh Beth Munter, Dr. Lawrence Galle, Dr. Jared Galle, and Cliff Galle, and eleven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 13, 2005, from 1-2 PM, with a 2 PM Mass of Christian Burial Celebration, all at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
