Ingrid "Gisela" Thornberry

Ingrid Elisabeth Thornberry (Gisela), age 51 of Vancleave, died Monday, January 2, 2006 in Ocean Springs. She was born on January 21, 1954 to Manfred and Annemarie Klein in Ulm, Germany. She was preceded in death by her father, Manfred Klein. She is survived by her mother, Maria Klein, sisters, Renate Liebig and Gertruade Hunt, brother, Wolfgang Klein all of Germany, daughters, Nicole Johnson of Wiggins, Angela Thornberry and Cathy Thornberry both of Vancleave, sons, Lawrence Thorpe Jr. of North Dakota and Chris Thorpe of Vancleave, 15 grandchildren, her babies, Minnie and Sassy, and numerous other family and friends. Mom, you were the heart and soul of our family; the glue that kept us all together. You were unique and one of a kind. There will never be another like you. Memories that we have of you will live on through us and your grandchildren. You never met a stranger and touched everyone you came in contact with. You were kind, caring, loving, and gave even when you had nothing to give. We love you so much and will carry on with your memory in our hearts. You are in everyone of us and we all are so much like you in so many ways. We will carry that with us in everything we do. Your world centered around your children and grandchildren and we will miss you so much! Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Friends may visit from 1:00 pm until service time.
