Irene Elizabeth Betarie Sen

Ms. Irene Elizabeth "Gammy" Betarie Sen, age 74, died Sunday, August 22, 2010, in Ocean Springs, MS. Ms. Sen was born in PA., was a former resident of Columbia Station, OH and Baton Rouge, LA and was a coast resident for seven years. She was of the Catholic faith and was retired from K-Mart. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casinos, walking on the beach, the LSU Tigers, board games, jumbo puzzles, and Daddy Bill's Jambalaya. She was preceded in death by five children, her parents and three siblings. Survivors include two daughters, Paulette Templet and Georgiann Murphy, four sons, Jerry (Wendy) Sen, Paul (JoJo) Sen, Mario (Kathy) Sen, and Marcus (Paula) Sen, four sisters, Frances, Phyllis, Arlene and Darlene, twelve grandchildren, Kimi, Melissa, Becky, Lil Jerry, Paul Jr., Christopher, Phillip, Jessica, Tonya, Holly, Connor, and Ridge, two step-grandchildren, Kim M. and Robert C., nine great-grandchildren, Gage, Braeden, Cheyenne, Shelby, Robbie, Madelyn, Tyler, Lexis and Hayden, and many nieces and nephews. Ms. Sen was loved by many especially the Requenes, Templet, Murphy, and Moody families, and friends, Bonnie, Vicki, Mary, Shirley, Linda, Bruce, Johnny, Lauana and Leslie. Momma, we all miss you. Our love is with you always. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 28, 2010, from 4 pm until 8 pm, with a 7 pm chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Entombment will be in the St. Jude Mausoleum in Holy Cross Cemetery in Cleveland, OH.
