Irene Parker

Irene Parker, 79, of Gulfport died Tuesday, February 9, 2010 in Gulfport. She was born in Biloxi and was a longtime resident of the coast. She loved the church and was a member of Mother of Sorrow Catholic Church and later moved to Nativity BVM where she would go everyday until she got sick. Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Azaline Parker; six brothers, Eddie Jr., George, Ralph, Alonzo, Harry, and Roosevelt Parker; and three sisters, Jean Graves, Kathryn Kraves, and Margaret Parker. She is survived by a brother, Edward Parker of Biloxi, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday February 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Nativity BVM, Marian Chapel in Biloxi where friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the mass.
