Irene Willard Watson Little

Mrs. Irene Watson Little, age 89, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Wednesday, May 28, 2009, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Little was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Gulf Hills Garden Club and Gulf Hills Women's Golf Association, where she achieved a hole in one. She loved animals. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Col. George Edward Little, daughter, Letitia (Col. Lewis Mark) Morgan, three sisters, Sue Applewhite, Lynette Slabaugh and Ann Stoltz, and her kitty, Midnight. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 30, 2009, from 1 PM - 2 PM with a 2 PM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to the Humane Society of South Mississippi, 2615 25th Avenue, Gulfport, MS.,39501.
