Iris Dubaz Roberts, 84, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014.
Iris was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. She was a member of Blessed Seelos Catholic Church, the Altar Society, a Eucharistic Minister and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. Iris was a former member of the LePetite Club and the Biloxi Ladies Auxiliary.
Iris was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Guy B. Roberts, Sr.; granddaughter, Jessica Rose; parents, Luke and Inez Dubaz, Sr.; sons-in-law, Mark Landry and Ronnie Iachino; sister, Annette Taranto; and brothers, Luke “L.J” Dubaz, Larry Dubaz, Sr., and George Burnett Dubaz.
She is survived by her children, Charmaine Landry, Darnell (Cheyenne) McCormick, Robin (Phillip) Mullen, Laurie Pinette, Guy B. (Barbara) Roberts, Jr. and David W. (Linda)Roberts; sister, Elaine Montiforte; grandchildren, Amanda, Rhett, Ashley, Mandy, Milton, Clement, Stacey, Charnell, Shane, David, Jr., Marisa, Billy, Jeff, Glenn, Brandy, Mindy, Cory, Jamie, Robert, Mollie, Heather, Brandon, Amber, Phillip, Jr., Amy, Brandon, and Jonathan; and 25 great-grandchildren, Damien, Rozalyn, Miley, Marcus, Alexis, Destiny, Cory, Caitlyn, Garrett, Colbie, Bailey, David, III, Hunter, Sierra, Jessica, Emilie, Peyton, Alexis, Cameron, Katelynn, Oliver, Rosemary, Emily, Ava, and Alyssa.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Blessed Seelos Catholic Church, 360 Lameuse St, Biloxi, MS 39530.
Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 13, 2014, Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe. Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 14, 2014, Blessed Seelos Catholic Church, with in-state visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial: Biloxi National Cemetery.
