Ivy Parker Thornton

Ivy Parker Thornton, 88, of Biloxi, MS died Sunday, February 13, 2005 in Biloxi. Mrs. Thornton was a lifelong resident of Biloxi and a graduate of Biloxi High School. She was a housewife and a mother.. She was also a member of North Bay Senior Citizens. Mrs. Thornton is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Thornton and son, Louis Urbin Thornton. She is survived by two daughters, Jean Thornton of St. Martin, MS and Donna Gaspard of Baton Rouge, LA, son, Carey Thornton of Empire, LA, seven grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2005, from 6pm-8pm at the Howard Ave. location of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Services will be Thursday, February 17, 2005 at 12p.m. also at the Howard Ave Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will be at Biloxi City Cemetery.
