Jack “Jay” Junior Cook, 51, died July 26, 2013 in Biloxi, MS.
He loved helping others and never met a stranger. Jack was a kind, gentle man that was a loving husband, son, father and brother. He and his family are members of Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast. He worked at Fisherman’s Wharf in Biloxi, Gollott’s Seafood for 14 years where he was a supervisor and ended his career at Seacor Marine as an engineer.
Jack was preceded in death by his father, Willie “Jack” Ben Cook; paternal grandparents, Wesley Cook and Rosalee Dennis; maternal grandparents, Ruel and Eunice Stewart; and uncles, Alfred E. Stewart, James Cook and Roy Wayne Hutcherson.
Jack is survived by his wife, Tammy Cook; daughter, Sabrina Nicole Milican; mother, Margie Stewart Cook; sisters, Melanie (Norman) Hyer and Darlene (Gary) Lee; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 29, 2013 at Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast where friends may visit one hour prior to service time. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe in charge. Interment will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at D’Iberville Memorial Park.
