Jack W. Martin

Mr. Jack W. Martin, age 65, of Ocean Springs, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017, in Ocean Springs. Jack was born on September 12, 1951, to Arthur Martin and Pauline Vantlin. He was born in Lawrenceville, IL and later moved to Ocean Springs where he married Bobbie "Cookie" Page. Jack worked in the construction trade as a foreman and retired as a Safety Inspector. His hobbies included coin collecting, fishing and crossword puzzles. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Bobbie "Cookie" Martin, daughters, Melinda LeGout, DeeDee Canterbury, son, B.J. Canterbury, grandchildren, Alexis, Alayna, Alexa, and Austin, great-grandson, Oliver, brother, Art Martin, sisters, Linda Wertz, Jerrie Rinehart, Betty Donavan, Sandy Isom, Shirley Miller and Susie Beline. Visitation will be on Saturday, April 22, from 2pm until 3pm, with a 3pm Celebration of Life service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
