Jack N. Seymour, Sr., 83, of North Biloxi, MS died on Thursday, April 15, 2010. Mr. Seymour was a native and lifelong resident of N. Biloxi. He had the first shoe repair shop "Jack's Shoe Repair" located at 5 Point Service Station at his parent's house, 106 Race Track Rd., N. Biloxi. He was retired from the Biloxi VA as a carpenter and Mr. Seymour was of the Catholic faith.
Mr. Seymour is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Martino Seymour; parents, Alphonse and Effie Seymour; sisters, Carrie Cannaan and Nannette Seymour; brothers, Hilton, J.P., Morgan, and Ralph.
He is survived by his daughters, Helen (John) DeGeorge, Gilda (Ken Freeman) Seymour; sons, Jack Seymour, Jr., Roy (Sherry) Seymour; sister, Eula Mae Van Court; 12 grandchildren, Greg DeGeorge, Eric (Tracy) DeGeorge, Angus (Beverly) Catchot, Jr., Gia (Josh) Catchot Wiener, Tadd, Tesha, Megan, Jarred, Shelby Cameron, Dylan and Logan Seymour; 8 great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Mason, Matthew, Olivia, Angus III, Ty, Anders, Savannah, Justin, Jarrod and Matthew; friend, Larry Mahler; and special thanks to brother-in-law, Donnie Martino and son-in-law, John DeGeorge and niece, Cynthia Roberts.
The family would like to thank the Hospice of Light at Singing River Hospital System
for their care of Mr. Seymour.
A Mass of Christian burial will be on Monday, April 19, 2010 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until mass time. Interment will follow in Swetman Cemetery, D'Iberville.
