Jackie B. Leger

Jackie B. Leger, Sr., age 79, of Biloxi, MS, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Leger was born in Dothan, AL and was a resident of the coast for the past 50 years. He retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding after 33 years in the paint department and served in the U.S. Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by his wife Gail Leger, sister Shirley Dewberry, and brother Earl Leger. Survivors include daughter Angela Leger of Biloxi, MS, son Jackie (Jamie) B. Leger, Jr. of D'Iberville, MS, sisters Brenda (Ron) Matranga, Linda (Bill) Bowling, and Janice (Chris) Howell, brother Earl Leger, and five grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday, March 15, 2021, from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm, with a 1:00 pm chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the Leger family.
