Jackie Lockett

Jackie Lockett, 76, of Biloxi, MS went to be with her heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 6, 2010. Mrs. Lockett was a longtime resident of Biloxi. She was a member of the Tuesday Afternoon Coffee Club and she volunteered at Biloxi Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Lockett loved cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Elmer O'Neal. Mrs. Lockett is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Lockett of Biloxi; mother, Patricia Marie of Biloxi; daughter, Kelly Brandt of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; son, Danny (Donna) Rigel of Hattiesburg, MS; sister, Peggy Couturier of Pass Christian, MS; step-brother, Kenneth Marie of Long Beach, MS; grandchildren, Matthew, Daniel and Andrew Rigel all of Hattiesburg, MS, Abby, Mercedes and James "Scooter", IV Brandt of all Ft. Lauderdale, FL and several nephews and nieces. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi. Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until service time. A private burial will be held at Southern Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to: American Heart Assoc., 2159 East Pass Road, Gulfport, MS 39507-3802. Family appreciates Biloxi Regional Med. Center and Gulfport Memorial Hospital for their care, understanding and kindness during Jackie's illness.
