Jacob (Jake) Anthony Istvanditsch, age 70, passed away peacefully September 1 at his home in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, with his wife, Maryann at his side.
He was born in Baranja, Yugoslavia in 1938 and immigrated to the U.S. in 1951. He attended school in Freehold N.J. and served in the U.S. Army during the Berlin Crisis. He was a driver for Greyhound for 15 yrs and worked for Tropicana Casino as security/surveillance for 20 years before moving to Mississippi. He was employed by the Isle of Capri Casino and the Treasure Bay Casino before retiring to enjoy his passion for Golf and Nascar.
Jacob was predeceased by his mother Marie Istvanditsch and his brother Frank Istvanditsch.
Jacob is survived by his wife Maryann, his 4 children , Jacob Istvanditsch & his wife Angela of Rockvale, TN., Thomas Istvanditsch & his wife Theresa of Howell, N.J., Eric Istvanditsch & his wife Patricia of Toms River N.J, and daughter Joan Rader & husband Ronald of Barnegat N.J., stepson James Jobson & wife Doreen of Waretown N.J., 7 Grandchildren, Kyle, Mallory, Eric, and Kevin Istvanditsch, Nick & Jordan Rader & Desiree Jobson, 2 great-grandchildren Kyle & Andrew Istvanditsch, a cousin Tony Dominikus & wife Nada of Bad Durkheim, Germany and many loving brothers and sisters, inlaws, friends and family.
Services are to be private at the familys request.
