Jacob Bauer, Jr.

Jacob Bauer, Jr., 95, passed away at his home in Biloxi on Monday, January 21, 2008. Jacob was the owner of Bauer Sign Shop in Biloxi on Pass Road. He was a Charter member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Biloxi. Jake was an avid fisherman and enjoyed painting and doing woodworking in his shop. Jacob is preceded in death by his parents, Jacob, Sr. and Adele Landwehr Bauer; sisters, Adele Jordan and Naomi Bauer; brothers, Elmore Bauer, Sr. and Calvin Bauer. He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years, Mildred "Millie" Alt Bauer; nine nieces and nephews and a host of friends. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to: Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 2004 Pass Rd., Biloxi, MS, 39531 or ones' favorite charity. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Services will follow at 1:00 pm.
