Jacob “Jake” Edward Fallo, age 86, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2012, in Biloxi.
Mr. Fallo was a lifelong resident of the coast and a WW II Veteran serving in the US Navy aboard the USS Mac Leish. He was the Sears Service Department Manager for 37 years. Jake was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and the Italian American Society.
Jake was preceded in death by his father, Jacob J. Fallo, his mother, Eva Borries Smith, brother, Pat Fallo and his grandson, Jacob M. Fallo.
He leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Leavelle Ward Fallo, his sons Charles (Pam), Carl (Yvonne), and Danny (Suzie) Fallo. He is survived by his grandchildren: Melissa Dixon (Tim), Kasey Chappell (Keith), Nick Fallo (Ann), Jennifer Fallo, Carl and Ashley Fallo. He is also survived by his great grandchildren: James and Bailey Dixon, James Noble, Noah Jackson, Madeline, Zoie, and Myles Fallo, Gabriel, Joseph, Katherine, and Sophia Chappell.
Visitation will be Monday, August 6, 2012 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 2090 Pass Road, Biloxi, MS 39531. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in the church sanctuary. A graveside service will follow at Southern Memorial Park Mausoleums.
The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St Vincent de Paul Society.
