Jacqueline “Jackie” Neely, 61, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005 unexpectedly. Jackie had been the survivor of a stroke from 3 years ago. Jackie was born on July 7, 1943 in Lottie, LA. She graduated from Pascagoula High School and shortly afterwards moved to the Biloxi/Gulfport area.
She was preceded in death by her parents, O. Y. and Littie Neely; and sisters, Kathryn Osborne and Betty Acosta, and Roni Neely.
Survivors include three brothers, B.L. (Kathy) Fry of LaPorte, TX, J.B. (Zodeen) Fry of Pascagoula, and Del Wayne (Paula) Neely of Marissa, IL; and two sisters, Cathryn (L.T.) Brinson of Houston, TX, and Patricia (Roger) Kollmansberger of Sun Praire, WI.
Jackie was an LPN and worked at Singing River Hospital, Pascagoula; Howard Memorial Hospital, Gulfport; Gulf Coast Community Hospital, Biloxi; Private Duty for Mary Dorsett, Biloxi; Home Health Nursing; and Harrison County Adult Detention Center, Gulfport. She retired in 2000. She was a very dedicated and caring nurse. She was a member of Eastlawn Baptist Church in Pascagoula. Jackie’s love of cooking and reaching out to those in need will be greatly missed.
The funeral service will be Friday, March 25, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at Eastlawn Baptist Church, Pascagoula where friends may visit from 1:00 P.M. until the service. Interment will be in Jackson County Memorial Park.
