James Acreman

Mr. James "Leroy" Acreman, 81, of Ocean Springs, died Saturday, August 12, 2006, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Acreman was born in Crenshaw County, Alabama and had been a resident of Jackson County for the past 51 years. he was retired from the State of Mississippi as a bridge tender. Mr. Acreman was preceded in death by his wife, Buford Money Acreman; his parents, Jesse E. and Georgia Petty Acreman, and three sisters, Corine Cornett, Olean Dean Moss and Inez Thaggard. Survivors include his daughter, Patsy Foreman, and her husband, Ken, of Ocean Springs; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2006, at 10 a. m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery in Benndale, MS.
