James Adam Salters

James Adam Salters, Jr., age 60, of Marquez, TX, formerly of Ocean Springs, passed away on January 19, 2008 in Houston, TX. He was born February 4, 1947 in Biloxi, MS to James Adam and Mary Virginia Salters, Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Bertie Varnado; and brother, Richard Salters. James is survived by his wife, Sandra Salters; their son, James Salters, III; sons, William "Bill" Salters and wife Terry of Charleston, SC, David Salters and wife Marie of Ocean Springs, MS; daughter, Shari Salters Jones and husband John of West Chester, OH; sister, Virginia Mitchell and husband Mike of Ocean Springs, MS; brothers, Robert "Bob" Salters of Ridgeland, MS, Ronald Salters and wife Holly of Ocean Springs, MS; grandchildren, William "Ty" Salters of Haslet, TX, Eryca Salters of Charleston, SC, Adam Hubbard of Ocean Springs, MS, and Thomas and Kayleigh Jones of West Chester, OH and numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 25, 2008 in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial to follow at Bellande Cemetery in Ocean Springs, MS.
