James Adam Tanner

James A. Tanner, age 76, of Vancleave, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2008 in Ocean Springs. Mr. Tanner was born in Jackson County, who remained a life-long resident of Vancleave and was a member of the Community of Christ Church. James was preceded in death by his wife, Nena Doris Tanner. Survivors include his sons, Robert Tanner, Willie Tanner and Charles Tanner all of Vancleave; sisters, Barbara Ann Comeaux, Geraldine Carlander and Mary Ridgedell all of Vancleave, Patricia Booty of Ohio, Ina Holder of Birmingham, AL and Alice King of D'Iberville; a brother, Sam Tanner of Vancleave; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at the Community of Christ Church in Vancleave, where friends may visit from 9:30 a.m., Interment to follow at the Church Cemetery. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
