James "Billy" Booker

James "Billy" Booker, Sr., 83, died Tuesday, May 24, 2005 in Biloxi. Mr. Booker was a native of Alabama and a lifelong resident of Biloxi. He was the former owner of Hygiene Crab Company in Biloxi, Vancleave and Pascagoula. He was also a U S Navy Veteran of WWII. Mr. Booker was preceded in death by his son James "Billy" Booker, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Beverly Meaut Booker of Biloxi; a daughter, Joanne Lowery of D'Iberville; a grandson, Bryan Booker of Biloxi; three granddaughters, Bevan Lowery, Michelle and Tabatha; and a sister Lois Jones of Foley, AL. Visitation will be Friday, May 27, 2005 from 9 am to 10 am with a service at 10 am, all at the Howard Ave. Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Biloxi City Cemetery.
