Mr. James Thomas Campbell, age 73, of Gautier, MS., died Sunday, January 15, 2006, in Gautier.
Mr. Campbell was born on December 14, 1932, in Des Arc, Arkansas. Jim, as he was called by his family and friends, was a 21 year veteran of the Navy and then worked for Litton Data Systems for several years. He battled bad health for a number of years and his grandkids were his greatest joy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Lillie Campbell, sister, Louise, all of Des Arc, and brother, LeRoy of South Bend, IN.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda, of Gautier, MS., who stood by him through his many years of illness, son, James, of Mobile, AL., daughter, Cheri of Panama City, FL., two grandsons, Jeramy and Seth, both of Etowah, TN., granddaughter, Hannah, of Mobile, two sisters, Carolyn Petty of Russellville, AR., and Dorothy Branch of Fayetteville, GA., sister-in-law, Kaye Webb of Wiggins, MS., brother-in-law, Johnnie Trigg of Vancleave, MS., and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 20, 2006, from 10 AM - 12 Noon. Burial will follow with a 1 PM graveside service at Biloxi National Cemetery.
The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
