James M. “Jay” Calcote, Jr. age 48, of Gulfport died Saturday, November 14, 2015 in Jackson. He was born in Gulfport where he was a resident for most of his life. He was a graduate of Gulfport High School class of ’85 where he played football and was also a graduate of USM. He was a CPA and previously worked for Roy Anderson Corp. and Yates Construction. He was Baptist. Jay is survived by a daughter, Megan Calcote; two sons, James Calcote and Aaron (Lorri) Calcote; a sister, Marsha Evans; and three brothers, Mark Calcote, Steve Dowst and Mike Dowst.
