James Doyle Casey

James Doyle Casey, age 82, of Latimer passed away on December 6, 2020. Mr. Casey was born on November 11, 1938 in Latimer, Mississippi to parents N.J. and Velma Casey. He attended St. Martin High School, and then went on to attend Perk. He worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding and MDOT, and was awarded MDOT Employee of the Quarter. He served in the National Guard, and loved to garden. He is preceded in death by parents N.J. and Velma Casey, brother Gary Casey, and sister Charlotte Shirey. He is survived by children Robin Casey Williams, Stacy D. Casey, James T. Casey, and Cassandra Casey Miller, as well as grandchildren Samantha Lebartard, Earl Brown Jr., Megan Miller, Justin Miller, Laura Halat, Rachael Casey, Katie Casey, Corey Casey, and Richelle Williams. He is also survived by great-grandchildren Carley Fortier, Brennan Kluck, Waylon Halat, Ryan Blake, and Everleigh Blake. A service will be held at a later date.
